Martha Stewart. I like her so much more now that she's done a little time. Before, she was this mystical, magical creature who created things that I thought the earth-bound human could achieve. Then I, an earthling, tried them and failed every time. "She is NOT human," thought I. Now, I'm cool with her. I still can't do ANYTHING that she does, but at least I know that she's a little bit closer to human.
As I watched her show yesterday, I laughed SO HARD!!! She had one of her staff on the show, cooking up a family dinner. They were breading pork chops. Martha spread mustard on one side of the pork chop in the pan and then put it in the breading. The "staffer" started to protest saying that she needed to mustard both sides and then bread it. Martha said that if you do it her way then you don't get the pan as messy and you can mustard the other side while it's in the breading pan. Then Martha said, "I'm still the teacher. You can learn something from me." (that was a general version) The best part was when she said under her breath, "Sorry, that was a little mean." Hi-Larious!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Speaking of Martha Stewart, I LOVED her guest the other day who made little dolls. Emily Martin sells her dolls (amongst other things) on Etsy. I love her prints! One of my favorites is the Mod Record Girl print. Pictures of her prints, dolls, and MANY other adorable crafts are at her super cute website:Emily also has another website that shows off her way cute fashion sense (thanks Abbey for telling me about this blog!!). I love her outfit
s! I wish I could wear the clothes that she has. I don't think I could pull it off. Check it out:
