Last week a little mini pebble hit my windshield and STARTED a crack. Today I sit in my condo waiting for the glass man to come and replace my windshield. Each day I noticed the crack would get longer and longer, mostly when my car sat out in the sun for any length of time.
Ok, not to get too deep and thought provoking, but this crack reminds me of how we as people are "cracked" (slang and literal). One tiny, little, "pebble-like" problem can start an ever-growing problem. Apply some heat and the problem gets longer/bigger. If you catch it soon, the repairs are minimal. Let it go and you end up having to replace everything.
Now, I'm not sure where insurance and a deductible figure in to all of this, but maybe you can come up with your own analogies on that one. All I know is that I'm LITERALLY glad I have insurance that covers a cracked windshield. :)
