Today I had to go to the post office. When I pulled in, there were a bajillion cars in the parking lot. What the heck?? It ain't tax time yet or Christmas or Mother's Day!!! So as I went inside, the throngs of people must have been somewhere else. There were precisely 3 people in front of me. Of course there were only 2 workers with 2 other workers "working together" on something I'm sure they thought was important. It didn't bug me until I looked behind me and saw a HUGE line had formed. Still only 2 windows open. So, now the annoyance really begins.
Lady on left was working with first lady in line. That lady moved 2 steps to the right and worker calls up next lady in line. She is working with her while lady on right calls up guy in front of me. Left worker finishes up with other lady while 2 step lady moved back. While she was working with her she then decides to ask if anyone needed stamps. If so, apparently they could step right up. Lucky for everyone that nobody needed stamps!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So the guy had an issue with his package and was nervous about the worker giving him a new envelope for what he was mailing. She said that if he used his original envelope it would cost him over $20 to mail. They finally figure it out.
Worker on left finally gets done. I am not your average post office goer. I know many a thing. And what I DID know is that I better not scoot myself over to that worker just yet. BINGO! Said worker decides to meander to the back for something. So finally other worker gets done with boy and I go up.
What has taken everyone else between 5-10 minutes to figure out LITERALLY takes me 3, and when I'm finished I turn to everyone in line and say, "And that's how you do it at the post office, people." (Said louder than I normally would, but not so loud that probably everyone thought I was a crazy nut talking to myself).
OYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So, after that did you go get another cup of coffee?
Places like that are stupid filters. Stupid people wash up there, and get stuck. It takes them a while to get washed out and let the next stupid person move up to be stupid.
Imagine yourself on the other side of the counter, having stupid people wash up and get stupid all over you every day?
Avoid the post office. It is a stupid place.
