The Chorus

I just saw "The Chorus" last night (aka "Les Choristes"). It's been in my Netflix for a while, but my friend Lisa had it at her house and asked if I wanted to see it. I'm so glad I said yes!!

What a wonderful movie. The storyline was beautiful and the music was GORGEOUS!! I think it especially touched me, being a music teacher. It made me think, "Why didn't any of my choirs sound like that?" Maybe because they didn't speak French and weren't actually professional boy's choir kids. OHhhhhh!!! :)
