I'm always having "issues" with my name. I don't understand why the name "Chris" has to be so difficult, and yet it is. Especially for employees at Starbucks. One time I said my name was Chris and they said, "Beatrice?" I said, "No, Chris." They said, "Beatrice?" I said, "NO, CHRIS." They said, "Oh, ok." When they called out the name for my coffee they said, "Grace."
The other day while I was at Starbucks I told the girl my name and she said, "How do you spell that?" I said, "It doesn't matter you'll pronounce it the same no matter how you spell it." She gave me a look as if to say, "Now, don't be sassy with me, Miss, just tell me how to spell it." In response to her look I said, "Q-U-R-I-S" of which she apparently found hilarious. She wrote it on the cup with a little face sticking it's tongue out.

OMG!
I get similar comments about Carrie, and even when I spell it for them they almost always use a K...so why ask? Stupid. I LOVE using the Q though! I'm going to create some very bizarre spelling next time. It may include a silent M...
Okay...I loooove Carrie's idea to throw in a silent M!! FANTASTIC!!
And I think you should officially change the spelling of your name to Quris.
I make up a new name every time I go in. Sadly it not very often but still, Leo is one of my favorites, sometimes Bob, one day I was Ralph. I need to think of some good girl names.
