So, the last few times I have been at Curves I have played dumb, which seems to be working. One day I got, "Oh Chris do you watch American Idol?" I shortly said, "Yeah." Then later as they were talking about Facebook she said, "So, Chris are you familiar with that?" I said, "What's that? I wasn't really listening. I'm kind of in the 'zone'." She said, "Oh, you're in the 'zone'. Good for you. I won't bother you then."
Then yesterday someone different was there and she started asking me a plethora of questions to which I replied, "Huh, uh, what....oh, sorry I have a hard time multi tasking. It's hard for me to talk and work out especially when I'm in the 'zone'." She said, "Oh, you're in the 'zone'. Good for you. Well, don't worry about talking." After I worked out she came over to the computer and said, "So, let's see how you did today, Chris." I said, "Really? Do you have to see, because I get a little embarrassed to have people looking at my progress." She said, "Oh, no problem. I'll let you look by yourself. I want you to feel comfortable."
YES!!!!!!!!!!!! And I had an AWESOME workout that day as well. Whoever invented the term "In the zone" was a genius!!!!!!!
