Here are my unrealistic, realistic but big, and average dreams (Top 5 list for each category--I think I may have just made up a new e-mail forward!)
Unrealistic:
1. Backup singer for a recording artist. (Don't really have one in mind yet)
2. Write a book of memoirs like Jen Lancaster of "Bitter is the New Black". (This is a new dream. If I had someone financially supporting me and had a mentor I might be able to pull this off. Any rich benefactors out there?)
3. Own a country summer cottage in Italy. (That would imply that I had the money to even get to Italy).
*Coming up with 5 is MUCH harder than I thought.
4. Have enough money that I can do my missions trips and teach if I WANT to.
5. To be the person that God wants me to be every day. (This should be number one, but the last entry always seems to be the most dramatic. I know that by God's grace I can live the way He wants me to, but I also know the reality of my sinful nature. Boo!)
Realistic but big:
1. Own a coffee shop. (I talked to my cousin Debra about this. In our dream the name of our shop is "Cousin's Coffee")
2. Be in a band. (Lead or backup singer; either way)
3. Be married with children. (Not unrealistic, but you have to at least have a warm body)
4. Get electrolysis so I never have to deal with any hair except that which is atop my head. (This comes down to the $$$ and pain factor. I blame the fall, El Nino and global warming for hair sprouted where it shouldn't be).
5. Own a detached home in which I can afford the mortgage payments.
Average dream:
1. Have a work schedule that meets my needs (maybe not always a realistic dream, but I'm working on it)
2. Lose weight. (Possible candidate for big dream list)
3. Have clear skin. (Also, possible candidate for big dream list)
4. Be less of a procrastinator. (Ummm, this may be more the unrealistic dream category)
5. Get my to do list completed today. (I dream big, don't I?)
